I was introduced to Ron Byers by another trainer who is a friend of mine from Michigan. My trainer friend and I drove to Indiana for a weekend of training with Ron Byers from Advance K9 Solutions. I have traveled all over the world seen many trainers, attended a few Shutzhund clubs, but I have never met a trainer that was such a down to earth guy, someone you feel like you've know forever, not showing off, putting people down or trying to assert his position by showing he's the boss or strong arming anyone. He explained step by step what he is doing, why he was doing it and was able to show you quick results. You could ask questions and feel comfortable no matter how stupid you felt your question was. He would take the time to explain in great detail so you understood why, with out just saying “do it this way.”
I enjoyed working with Ron some much, I decided to come back and train with him for eighteen days. I actually drove up from Philadelphia where I live and spent eight days then drove back to Philadelphia to go to class for one day, then drove back to Indiana and spent another ten days, that is how much I like training with Ron, I would not have done that for anyone else. We made great stride and much progress with my dog. My dog was running two blinds within three days; the retrieve was almost done in five days. Ron knows a lot and he is not like other trainers; he will not hold back he will teach you everything he knows. I feel that you get what you pay for and I can tell you I would have paid much more because he is not only in this as his lively hood, he trains with a passion and you can see it in him. Sometimes it was so cold and there was so much snow on the outside training field; I would be hesitant to go out there, but Ron would be out there a head of me ready to go. I never felt like he was in it just for the money, he enjoyed it and made me fell good about my experience with training. I never felt like Ron wasn't excited about training that day.
This experience was un-doughtily the best training experience I have had to date, I wish that I could live in or around the Fort Wayne, Indiana area, so I could train with Ron on a regular bases. I have every intention of coming back and do more training with Ron and Advance K9 Solutions. Thanks again for the wonderful experience and I hope to see you soon.

I would like to thank you for all your support and education. I wanted to do the right thing and adopted a pound puppy. He was familiar with the prison life that's for sure. Harley had all the behaviors of a criminal, but with your guidance and support Harley is now the loving family member that we always wanted. I cannot thank you and your staff enough for all you help. Thanks for your help working with us to train our puppy. It was so important to me when we got our puppy that she be well behaved. But since I had never had a dog before, I had no idea how to train her. You broke down the necessary skills and commands into simple steps that were easy to follow. I could take what you showed us in our short weekly meetings and easily duplicate that at home. I felt like I went from having no clue, to having a clear picture of what I needed to do to teach my dog what I wanted her to do! You helped me see that training Birdie could be incorporated into her playtime, and it ended up being fun, quality time that I spent with her. It was also reassuring to me to be able to bounce questions and concerns regarding Birdie's behavior/learning off of you to know if she was on track/"normal" or if I needed to tweak something I was doing to get a better response from her. So thank you again. You helped us set the foundation for having a dog that is nice to have around.
